A Helping Hand has one of the best caregiver teams in the Seattle area!
The vast majority of our caregivers have Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Care Aide credentials, which provide a solid foundation for care delivery. Many also have cooking skills and certifications in first aid, CPR, dementia and nurse delegation. Additionally, A Helping Hand Homecare provides all our caregivers with monthly continuing education pieces relevant to their work. Caregivers are required to complete these or similar materials and pass a related quiz. This means our clients can be confident about the service they will receive.
Behind the scenes, our administrative staff members possess many years of experience in home care and a real dedication to the business. We focus on teamwork, communication, problem solving and above all, compassion. While this creates a fun office environment, we believe it serves our clients well, too. We seek out only the best employees to work with us. We offer:
- Competitive wages and benefits
- Wellness reimbursement program
- Performance-based pay increases
- Training and growth opportunities
- A supportive team
Our current vacancies
All compassionate people are encouraged to apply!
We are always looking for great caregivers. We offer shifts throughout King County and south Snohomish County. Shift length is a minimum of four hours to make it worth your time, but we have many longer shifts including 12 hour shifts and two- to four-day live-in arrangements. Duties depend on the client but can include simple “companionship” as well as cooking and errands, or bigger challenges like ambulation, bathing, dementia, and hospice. We do our best to match caregivers with clients to their mutual satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has CNA or HCA certification along with other training, relevant experience, and a real passion for providing help to others.
